OK, first of the Peel Sessions that I decided to document. The story about me and John Peel is a long one and best told over a pint. But the short version is that we were mates right up until his death (weirdly on the day of my birthday back in 2004).
So first up is a session from Cornershop who were incredibly entertaining. In support of their amazing ‘Handcream For A Generation’ album. The session was suitably heady, psychedelic and loaded with sound.
Apologies for the poor quality pics, lighting at the Maida Vale MV4 Studio was never great.
