Hackney’s Ocean was a weird venue. Ended up going there for loads of things at once, and then suddenly not. I think it might have gone under or something. It was a bit soulless and the sound system wasn’t always the best. But nonetheless had a few decent nights out here during its short run.
One of the first was this VJ (Visual DJ’ing) event. Can’t for the life of me remember the full line up. Though obviously Courtney Pine and Ninja Tune’s Coldcut were involved. Scanone too?
Someone provide some additional info please…..
