What can I say….it was around this time that the Sonar Festival became a yearly fixture.
This time, it was footballing legend Maradona who was the chosen ‘mascot’ that adorned all the promotional graphics. Clearly a closet EDM fan!
Musically was ace that catered to the new, small and independent voices in the electronic music world. Was always nice to see John (Peel) milling around and hang out with him too.
