UnderLondonground. Aldwych Tube Station, The Strand, London.

The most fun I’ve had in a tube station! And that includes the time I was trapped at Bond Street station once due to flooding.
Seed Records had the genius idea of holding a proper techno knees-up at Aldwych, which closed in the mid-90s.
It’s since spent its time as a popular location for film and TV productions. (The Prodigy’s ‘Firestarter’ video was filmed in the tunnel).
I had a blast exploring the station itself. As well as enjoying sets from the likes of Zurich’s Spezialmaterial crew, Mira Calix (RIP) and Posthuman.
