Archived Gallery #033 — Sequencer Variety Club

--

Sequencer Variety Club. ICA, London.
21st September 2002.

Totally love the ICA as a music venue. The location, the bookshop (selling a range of books that are clearly out of my depth) and gallery. The cafe bit upstairs and finally the dark events room at the back. Many a memorable night spent in this last bit.

This evening’s entertainment was a lens on those operating on the fringes of pop. Exuberant live sets from Max Tundra who was amusingly supported by his sister Becky from the band Tunng. Both sporting attire as a tribute to The White Stripes obvs.

Support came from the brilliant Cursor Miner and finally a jaw-dropping set from Schneider TM. A wildly eclectic night of experimental pop.
