Nicely timed, just as I post this up. The mighty Jan Jelinek plays live tonight at Camden’s Jazz Cafe.
Anyway, wibble back to 2002 and he was joined by Kaffe Matthews, Douglas Benford aka Si-{cut}.db and Marcus Weiser (one half of Rechenzentrum) for Interplay at the Spitz.
Again, another spot I caned back in the day. Was a really solid venue, until sadly the c*nts over at Ballymore Properties turfed them out due to rent dispute.
Now it’s a empty-headed clothing store in the ever-depressing shitshow that is Shoreditch. Go figure….
