Interest in Schneider TM was piqued by their utterly insane cover version of The Smiths’ ‘There is a light that never goes out’.
Seriously, go listen to ‘The Light 3000’ and tell me it almost trounces the original (any excuse NOT to hear Morrissey).
Anyway, the album that came out around this time, ‘Zoomer’ on Mute / City Slang was the best thing they ever did.
And live at 93 Feet East, they were hella fun…..
