Warp Christmas Party. Club Aquarium, Old Street, London.
20th December 2002.
This was an odd one. The Warp Records Christmas Party held at the Aquarium club right near Old Street Roundabout. I’d never been to this venue before or since.
Despite the weird vibe the place was giving off, it was a decent knees up. Can’t remember much of it to be honest other than the likes of Machinedrum live.
And the joy of meeting 8-bit computer game legend Jeff Minter and his crew playing ‘Unity’ their since abandoned ‘rave shoot em up’.
