Glasgow Rangers were playing an important match on the same night and Mogwai took it upon themselves to watch it on telly in the green room beforehand.
Sadly for them (but not for us) they lost and so they angrily bound into the studio and just turned up the heat.
Was an incendiary performance. One of the best sessions I’ve witnessed.
