This was a supremely fun night.
Sonar, the iconic electronic music festival held in Spain every year branched out and started doing one-off events in different cities around the world.
So from the sun-drenched streets of Barcelona to the, um, slightly less warmer surrounds of Hackney’s Mare Street.
The full killer line-up included Squarepusher — who blitzed it with a fierce demonstration of all things ‘Amen’. Alongside labelmates Plaid.
Ladytron were as brilliant as ever with their precision-tooled electro pop. Also fantastic DJ sets from garage legend MJ Cole, the mighty Trevor Jackson and James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem.
