Zan Lyon’s debut album ‘Desolate’ from 2000 was a fierce opening statement and without resorting to cliche, still sounds urgent now.

A self-taught violinist who fuses that discipline with laptop abuse resulting in a sound that is pretty fucking terrifying.

I remember this live performance was a proper assault across the entire frequency spectrum. Like being dragged across concrete….
