’Vintage-flavoured drumfunk from UK producer John Cunnane. Lush layered soundscapes, icy detuned synths, and frenetic drum programming held together by hard-hitting retro-futuristic bangers cut with ambient interludes. Heavy on bass, heavy on craft. Essential for drumfunk heads.’ Out on WeMe, who are fast becoming Belgian’s answer to Rephlex. (SA)

’A meditative read aimed at people who love electronic music, simple as that really. Written by a former SoundCloud team member, it’s less a music book than a quiet pep talk — encouraging creators to stop overthinking and just enjoy the process. Light on technical content, but warm and genuinely felt.‘ (SA)

Thomas Bush: Guld (Lost Domain, Album)
’Six tracks of “hortical tekno ::: dissipated song-forms” that feel like songs composted rather than completed. Skeletal electronics, rhythms that sit slightly wrong, hovering between techno and song-form without committing to either.
